Qualys' team of professionals enriches its expertise in the commercial and technical areas thanks to the appointment of new managers.
Qualys, Inc. (NASDAQ: QLYS), a pioneer and leading provider of cloud-based security and compliance solutions, announces the entry into the Italian team of Marco Atzeni as Sales Manager and Riccardo Dal Lago as Technical Account Manager. The arrival of new resources allows Qualys to expand and consolidate valuable skills, also strengthening the company's role as a global leader in IT security and compliance solutions based on the Qualys Cloud Platform.
With the aim of monitoring the development and trends of the final market and carrying out direct touch and demand creation activities, the new Sales Manager Italy Marco Atzeni will work alongside the company's commercial representatives, implementing the go-to- market in close collaboration with partners and fielding an expertise developed in over twenty years of activity in the ICT sector. After graduating in Economics from the University of Pavia, Atzeni has in fact developed his professional career in the IT security sector, holding important roles such as Sales Area Manager Northern Italy and Territory Account Manager both for important vendors such as Intel and Forcepoint, both for distributors of the caliber of Azlan and Itway, up to Qualys at the end of 2018.
Riccardo Dal Lago, on the other hand, brings expertise to the Qualys technical area as Technical Account Manager supporting the entire national territory. Following the achievement of the degree in Information Science and Technology, Del Lago acquired in-depth technical knowledge on the subject of IT security, working for years as a Cyber Security Consultant at the system integrator Sinergy. Previously, he worked in the Emaze Networks team, carrying out an accurate Penetration Test activity, a function that will allow him to support companies in defining the most appropriate security policies, exploiting the Vulnerability Assessment and Vulnerability Severity functions of the Qualys Platform.
