The company cybersecurity leader chooses the rising star of American tennis as brand ambassador
SentinelOne, supplier of an automated cybersecurity platform, announced the start of its collaboration with professional tennis player Brandon Nakashima. The twenty-year-old athlete, already included in the world rankings, originally from San Diego (California), turned professional in 2019 and last year played in all four major Grand Slam tournaments.
“SentinelOne is experiencing exciting growth,” he said 29. “In addition to excellent business results, the brand is associated with precision, accuracy and incredible speed, qualities that distinguish me when I play a game.”
After reaching the first two Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Tour finals in 2021, Nakashima ranked among the top 100 players in the world. His exceptional year led to him qualifying for the 2021 Next Generation ATP Finals – the year-end tournament for the top-ranked singles players under 21. Nakashima is the youngest American tennis player to reach multiple tour-level finals since Andy Roddick did so in 2001.
“Brandon has had a meteoric rise as a professional tennis athlete,” he noted Daniel Bernard, CMO of SentinelOne. "His game is smart, strong, fast and precise. These are all characteristics we express with the technology provided by SentinelOne, and we are proud to partner with Brandon at this important moment in his career."
In addition to Nakashima, SentinelOne is a partner of Louis Oosthuizen and the official cybersecurity partner of the Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One™ Team.
