ESET, a global leader in cybersecurity, has announced the appointment of Fabio Buccigrossi as ESET Country Manager Italy
Buccigrossi, who boasts consolidated experience in the IT sector, aims to expand ESET's presence in Italy, implementing new commercial strategies to expand the business and address the market of medium and large-sized companies. It also has the task of structuring channel activities, creating new partnerships with the most qualified distributors, with the aim of being close to both partners and end users and responding promptly to the new challenges of Digital Transformation.
Previously, Buccigrossi worked for over ten years at Sophos Italia, first as Marketing Director and subsequently as Channel Director, re-adapting Sophos' first channel program and allowing the company to significantly increase, year on year, the number of active partners and the volume of revenue generated.
“Thanks to the profound knowledge of the market and the value that Fabio, over the years, has been able to generate within leading companies in the ICT sector and dedicated to cybersecurity, I am sure that he will be a strategic figure to accelerate the growth of the company and achieve important business results in Italy,” he declared Miroslav Mikuš, Chief Sales Officer at ESET.

Graduated in Electronic Engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan, Buccigrossi began his career in the ICT market in 1994. After four years in Telecom Italia, he held various roles in the marketing and sales area, both direct and indirect, within important players in the ICT market, such as MCI Worldcom Spa, Hyperion, Oracle and Sophos.
