Acronis, global leader in the protection informatica announces the appointment of Denis Cassinerio as Vice President South Europe CEE. In his new role, Cassinerio will lead the development of the company's activities in Southern, Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans. Responsibilities include supporting solid and sustainable growth, expanding Acronis' presence in its markets, and effectively coordinating activities across a multi-country region.
In detail, Denis will define the commercial development strategies and sales organization of the region, working through direct and indirect models to accelerate the adoption of the Acronis platform for cyber protection and strengthen its presence in the fields of security, cloud services and managed service providers.
The main responsibilities include the definition and implementation of the regional strategy, the commercial and partner ecosystem growth, the expansion in the large and medium enterprise segments, the development of the cybersecurity, IT resilience and infrastructure areas, the valorization of talents and the constant alignment with the company management at a global level.

Denis Valter Cassinerio has over thirty years of international experience in business development, in the creation and growth of partner networks and in the expansion of activities in the Information Technology and cybersecurity sector. Over the course of his career he has held roles of increasing responsibility in leading commercial organizations, contributing to the development of new markets, the transformation of distribution models and the growth of activities aimed at partners, service providers and corporate customers.
Denis' professional path has developed in several European markets, with responsibilities for Southern Europe, Iberia, Central and Eastern Europe and other international areas. He led geographic expansion programs, development of new commercial organizations and growth of channel ecosystems, accompanying the evolution of traditional models towards managed services, subscription solutions and integrated cybersecurity platforms.
Over the years, Cassinerio has also gained significant experience in defining strategies for large companies and service providers, in developing strategic partnerships and in creating organizations dedicated to managed security services. Professional successes have been characterized by the ability to combine commercial growth, international development, transformation of sales models and consolidation of presence in cybersecurity markets.
In addition to significant experience in the field of Information Technology and cybersecurity, Denis studied Business Communication at the IULM in Milan and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Cumbria, Carlisle, United Kingdom.
