Advanced cybersecurity services expanded with code risk analysis, compromise assessment and malware analysis capabilities, based on recent OpenAI models
SentinelOne (NYSE: S), a global leader in AI-powered cybersecurity, today announced an expanded offering Wayfinder Frontier AI Services, based on OpenAi's Daybreak models across the Daybreak Defense Network. Starting with OpenAI's GPT-5.6-Cyber, the solutions will use the latest advanced cybersecurity models, helping customers proactively detect and resolve exploitable threats in enterprise environments before hackers linked to nation-state groups and cybercrime can take advantage.
Frontier AI models have made headlines for their ability to detect new threats that traditional systems or scanners may not detect. Today, the way security teams manage exposure and patches is changing. However, increasingly long lists of alerts rarely help to identify which risks are actually exploitable in the corporate environment. What really matters is knowing which exposures are actually reachable by a hacker and taking quick action to close them. Wayfinder's Frontier AI services are designed to do this: they combine Frontier AI models with the elite expertise of SentinelOne's offensive and defensive security experts, giving customers a priority map and operational guidance for remediation, rather than an ever-expanding backlog.
“Hackers are increasingly using AI to find and exploit vulnerabilities with unprecedented speed and scale,” said Steve Stone, Chief Customer Officer at SentinelOne. "Our goal is to help customers close this gap by making the most advanced AI models available to our best experts so they can focus on the areas most exposed to attacks. In our tests, OpenAI's GPT-5.6-Cyber has already demonstrated exceptional capabilities in malware analysis, code risk assessment, and other offensive cybersecurity tasks. This makes it a particularly good fit for Wayfinder Frontier AI services and our customers' needs."
- Analyze telemetry data against detection rules to identify security gaps, including potentially risky use of VPNs and proxies, remote management tools, and other dual-use software. This way, hours of manual review are replaced by AI-based triage.
- When the triage process identifies potentially malicious code, the same malware analysis capability is used to perform disassembly, decryption and behavioral analysis to confirm the activities performed by the code and evaluate its potential scope and impact.
