Arrow Electronics, a global provider of technological solutions, announces an agreement with Arista Networks, a leading company in Software-Driven Cognitive Cloud Networking, to start the distribution in Italy of innovative switching for the creation of next-generation Software-Defined Data Center infrastructures.
Arista Networks' mission is to provide solutions based on SDN networks for Data Centers and High Computing systems. The portfolio includes switching solutions characterized by low power consumption and compact dimensions with 1/10 and 40GbE products, up to 100 GbE, which redefine the concepts of scalability, robustness and price-performance ratio. All solutions are suitable for creating latest generation Software-Defined Data Centers, while the heart of the system is the Extensible Operating System® (EOS), one of the most advanced operating systems in the world.
