Ben Carr is an established manager in the field of cyber security and risk management
Qualys, Inc. (NASDAQ: QLYS), a pioneer and leading provider of cloud-based security and compliance solutions, has appointed Ben Carr as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Ben is responsible for providing cybersecurity strategy and advice to clients, chairing the CIO/CISO Interchange, the non-profit organization formed by Qualys in partnership with the Cloud Security Alliance, while coordinating internal efforts to reduce enterprise risk and security exposure, including ensuring global compliance.

Ben is an accomplished cybersecurity and risk management leader with over 25 years of experience implementing long-term security strategies. Ben was most recently the CISO at Aristocrat, a leading gaming company, and before that held Executive Leader roles at Cyberbit and Tenable. From 2012 to 2016, he was Senior Director of Global Information Security for Visa, where he developed and led Visa's Attack Surface Management team globally. Before that, he headed all security programs in Nokia's IT department, as Global Head of IT Security.
