The vendor participates in the meeting organized by the Cloud Security Alliance Italian Chapter association, illustrating some best practices
Qualys, Inc. (NASDAQ: QLYS), a pioneer and leading provider of highly innovative cloud-based IT security and compliance solutions, will participate in the webinar “Top Threats in the Cloud: Analysis of 9 Attacks and What We Learned” which will be held on December 14th at 9.30am, organized by CSA Italy to analyze useful solutions to identify vulnerabilities, prioritize the remedy and keep the security posture of companies updated.
CSA Italy is the Italian Chapter of Cloud Security Alliance, the international non-profit association that aims to promote knowledge, training and the provision of secure services and solutions for all forms of computing. CSA has more than 400 member companies, including the world's leading cloud vendors and providers, coordinates 20 affiliate organizations and manages a community of more than 99,000 professionals interested in contributing to the cloud security market.
Qualys, founding member of CSA Italy, will participate in the webinar with Marco Rottigni, Chief Technical Security Officer EMEA. Starting from an in-depth analysis of one of the cases in the publication "Egregious Eleven - Deep Dive", it will be illustrated how the Qualys Cloud Platform allows the construction of a digital inventory extended to cloud resources, with real-time control of configurations and compliance with best practices .
“Due to the increase in digitalization processes, companies have to manage decidedly more complex and varied environments than in the past. The physical corporate boundaries are labile and are dissolving in favor of logical perimeters, causing difficulties in developing the visibility necessary to manage total security", he stated Emilio Turani, Managing Director of Italy, South Eastern Europe, Turkey and Greece at Qualys. “In this context, solutions are required that are capable of accelerating the operational efficiency of security teams, which are able to embrace IT business processes and the asset management part, security but also compliance, worlds that until recently were disjointed but which today are moving in a single direction."
