SentinelOne, a provider of an automated cybersecurity platform, was included, for the second consecutive year, in the annual CB Insights AI 100 ranking, which indicates the 100 private companies linked to the development of the most promising AI solutions in the world. SentinelOne is one of twelve companies on the list valued at over $1 billion and is the only endpoint security company to be on the list for the second consecutive year.

The CB Insights research team selected the 100 companies of 2021 starting from a list of 6,000 companies, considering several factors, including activity on new patents, investor reputation, effectiveness of communication, market potential, partnerships, competitive landscape, team strength and technological innovations. The 100 companies, supported by more than 700 investors, are spread across the United States, China, Israel, Japan and the United Kingdom.
"This is the fifth year that CB Insights has recognized the most promising private companies in the field of Artificial Intelligence with the AI 100, and it is certainly one of the most international groups ever identified. This year's companies span 18 sectors, covering topics ranging from climate risk to accelerating medicines research and development," he said Anand Sanwal, CEO the CB Insights. "Last year's companies saw notable growth following their inclusion in the CB Insights AI 100 list, with 50% of them raising additional funding (totaling $5.2 billion), including 16 mega-rounds of over $100 million.
