The investment by Project Informatica, H.I.G.'s portfolio company Capital, plans to acquire Centro Computer to expand geographical coverage and expertise in IT services and solutions
Computer Center, consultancy company specializing in IT products, services and solutions for companies, has started operations to be fully integrated within Project Informatica, a leading operator in the Italian Information Technology market, with the aim of creating a broad and qualified synergy in the range of services offered to businesses.
The financial operation launched by Project Informatica – H.I.G. portfolio company since July 2020. Europe, European branch of the international investment fund H.I.G. Capital with over €36 billion of capital under management – will enable both ICT companies to increase their geographic coverage.
With headquarters in Stezzano (Bergamo), a turnover of approximately €130 million and 230 employees, Project Informatica has been operating in the Italian IT landscape for over 30 years and over the years has recorded significant growth which has led it to position itself as the reference technological partner of numerous Italian public and private companies.
Centro Computer has a widespread presence across the territory and, through its offices in Cento (Ferrara), Faenza (Ravenna), Modena, Padua and Milan, it will expand the number of Project Informatica technological partnerships and will encourage an expansion of the product and service portfolio to be offered to customers thanks to the union of the different skills developed by the companies.
The integration will give further stimulus to the development path of Centro Computer and Project Informatica to continue with renewed commitment to enriching the expertise of the companies, with the aim of identifying synergies and skills useful for satisfying the increasingly diversified needs of customers.

In detail, among the strengths of Centro Computer stand out the Fleet-Print-Mobility Management solutions which integrate the advantages of the purchase and operational leasing of PCs, printers, mobile devices and services and which allow the entire fleet of workplaces to be managed with a single contract with absolute modernity, flexibility, simplicity and efficiency.
Among the projects in the pipeline are the launch of new investments to enrich the specializations in the Artificial Intelligence and Mixed Reality fields for companies in the manufacturing sector, as well as continuing with attention to IT Security services and the management and integration of cloud data centers.
