Gartner positions SentinelOne as a leader in the Magic Quadrant and defines the Singularity platform as a standard for endpoint security
SentinelOne, a provider of an automated cybersecurity platform, achieved the highest scores in all three use cases Types A, B and C in Gartner's 2021 Critical Capabilities report for endpoint protection platforms. Of the 19 vendors included in the report, SentinelOne is the only one to have received the highest score in all three use cases.
The three use cases of Critical Capabilities evaluated were:
- The use case of type A customer: focused on “lean forward” organizations that adopt new technologies quickly, within their implementation cycle.
- The use case of type B customer: focused on the "overall value" of the solution, evaluates the potential risks associated with the timely use of a new technology compared to its benefits.
- The use case of type C customer: Concerns organizations that generally view technology as an expense or operational necessity and use it as a means to reduce costs.

Part of the analysis conducted for the 2021 Magic Quadrant, the Critical Capabilities for Endpoint Protection Platforms uses the same data collected during that research period.
