Besana will work on the management of business partners, developing partnership agreements and outlining the correct channel strategies
SentinelOne, provider of an automated cybersecurity platform, announces the arrival of Luca Besana as Channel Business Manager for the Mediterranean Region.
Officialized in September 2021, the appointment aims to improve the management and development of the business partner channel for the entire Mediterranean Region. Besana will have the task of developing partnership agreements and refining channel strategies. In the new role he will be responsible for achieving commercial objectives in terms of sales volumes, profitability and expansion of the partner portfolio.
With many years of experience in the development of strategies and in the timely management of activities in support of the channel, Besana has held strategic roles in various companies in the ICT world. Graduated in Computer Science with specialization in Finance and Business Management at the University of Milan-Bicocca, he began his career in Ready Informatica, an Italian distributor specializing in ICT technologies for virtualization, storage and security.
It has achieved brilliant achievements in major security vendors such as Stonesoft, Intel Security and Sophos, developing targeted commercial strategies with its partners through a 'direct-touch' approach on the main reference markets. Since 2017 in Qualys, provider of cloud-based IT security and compliance solutions, Besana has been Channel Manager, Director SMB & SME Operations and, since April 2021, Channel Director Italy and Greece, helping to develop the ecosystem of channel partners, defining the related business plans and guiding the team dedicated to medium business and enterprise. Thanks to the experience gained over the years, Besana boasts a particular consultancy attitude in the implementation activities, with and for the channel, of the current Go-to-market models.
