VertivThursday, 28 October 2021 Thursday, 28 October 2021, a compact solution for powering alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) loads in a single sub-rack with a common battery. The system provides DC and AC power from a common platform using a single control unit, thus eliminating the need for separate controllers for the DC power supply and the inverter. The 230V AC system is currently available in Asia, EMEA and Latin America, and a 120V AC system will be available in the Americas from 2022.
The NetSure inverter series, which draws on Vertiv's long experience and its broad portfolio of AC and DC power solutions, is an integrated system consisting of an AC and DC power distribution panel, NetSure ™ control units and rectifiers and eSure ™ inverters. Working in an integrated manner, the system provides zero transfer time between the AC grid and DC battery sources, ensuring highly effective backup for critical loads. The NetSure inverter module has the industry's best power density in its class, 23 watts per cubic inch (1.4W / cm3), packed into a small footprint and provides an efficiency level that can go as high as 96.3%. This module is particularly suitable for environments characterized by high temperatures - up to 80 degrees Celsius - so it can be widely used in areas such as telecommunications infrastructures and Edge networks.
"With the spread of 5G and a growing demand for processing capacity in traditional DC powered environments, both in traditional data centers and in Edge infrastructures, the need to manage both AC and DC loads reliably and efficiently is growing", he has declared "With the spread of 5G and a growing demand for processing capacity in traditional DC powered environments, both in traditional data centers and in Edge infrastructures, the need to manage both AC and DC loads reliably and efficiently is growing", he has declared"With the spread of 5G and a growing demand for processing capacity in traditional DC powered environments, both in traditional data centers and in Edge infrastructures, the need to manage both AC and DC loads reliably and efficiently is growing", he has declared
Thanks to a single control system, the NetSure series of inverters requires neither additional training for network operators nor further investments in additional controllers, thus reducing the number of devices installed and the associated maintenance costs. The complete visibility on both AC and DC loads therefore allows you to plan the distribution of loads in the best possible way, always guaranteeing high levels of reliability.
