Vectra AI e Neutron Engineering presentano un Security Operations Center as a Service all’avanguardia

by Grandangolo Communications / Friday, 15 April 2022 / Published in Vectra

Customers will benefit from best-in-class engineering and security technologies that power AI-powered cyber protections

Vectra AI, a cybersecurity leader in detecting and resolving cyber threats for hybrid and multicloud enterprises, announced the release of a new Security Operations Center As a Service (SOCaaS), based on Vectra platform come on Neutron Engineering, provider of technology solutions. The combination of Vectra's leading cyber detection tools and Neutron's innovative engineering and service delivery capabilities offers a unique opportunity for government, commercial and industrial defense sectors to provide an AI-enhanced threat detection and response solution.

“Cyber criminals often target victims at times when their defense mechanisms are weakest, during off hours, on weekends and holidays,” he stressed. Brandon Lockett, CEO e Chief Solutions Architect di Neutron Engineering. "This is why all modern organizations need to adopt defense mechanisms that can automatically detect, respond to and remediate issues as they arise. Our new service is specifically developed to ensure this, combining AI-based threat detection with professional support technology that offers the best protection against the growing threat of cyber attacks."

Neutron's SOCaaS, powered by Vectra AI, can:

  • Provide information on security and event management, offering different level response functions, from simple alerts to active intervention
  • Reduce so-called 'log fatigue', i.e. the stress resulting from continuous access to systems, allowing security and operations teams to focus only on active threats and the most critical campaigns
  • Detect new threat activity, detect and stop ransomware, and identify insider threats
  • Improve governance and compliance initiatives, while also helping organizations meet new cybersecurity regulations

"Today, we as entrepreneurs must comply with the regulatory requirement while ensuring internal best practices, maintaining the resources necessary to protect customers, employees and business workloads. Neutron SOCaaS offers the best possible solutions to ensure regulatory compliance, while strengthening the organization's cyber posture to address today's constantly evolving threat landscape," said Lockett.

“Many organisations, particularly those operating in the government sector, are currently facing a variety of challenges as cyber regulations increase and security shortages worsen,” he said Michael Wilson, Federal Advanced Programs Group Manager di Vectra AI. "The demand for automated services that can block threats from materializing and ensure compliance standards are met has dramatically increased. In collaboration with Neutron, we have created a SOCaaS that can provide unmatched cybersecurity protections, expanding the organization's visibility into the progress of active threats and reducing alert fatigue for security analysts, all while ensuring cyber protocols are followed."
