The transaction allows SentinelOne to provide companies with complete and autonomous identity security by integrating its features into the Singularity XDR platform
SentinelOne, supplier of an autonomous cybersecurity platform, has successfully completed the acquisition of Attivo Networks, the company for which it had declared the acquisition agreement on March 15, 2022.
Attivo Networks is a leader in identity security and lateral movement control, with a continuously expanding business and supporting hundreds of companies internationally, including those on the Fortune 500 list. With this acquisition, SentinelOne extends its prevention, detection and and AI-driven response to identity-based threats, redefining the standard for XDR and accelerating the adoption of Zero Trust in enterprises.
Together, SentinelOne and Attivo Networks provide comprehensive identity security as part of Singularity XDR for self-contained protection, including:
- Singularity™ Identity: It interrupts the abuse of credentials through the defense of the infrastructure in real time in the Active Directory, protecting the endpoint thanks to the deception. Identity defends the Domain Controller of Active Directory & Azure ad and the assets connected to their system from hackers who aim to obtain privileges and move stealthily.
- Singularity™ Ranger® Active Directory Assessor: Identify vulnerabilities in Active Directory and Azure AD with a continuously operating identity assessment solution, delivered in the cloud. Ranger® AD Assessor provides proactive, actionable insights to reduce Active Directory and Azure AD attack surfaces by aligning with security best practices.
- Singularity™ Hologram: Attracts network and internal threat actors to engage and entice them to reveal their activities. So-called Singularity Hologram 'decoys' are available for use by attackers and insiders. The telemetry data produced is used to support investigations and helps provide additional information on the attackers.
