An important result that demonstrates the company's technical expertise and customer success in detecting and responding to threats on AWS
Vectra AI, a cybersecurity leader in detecting and remediating cyber threats for hybrid and multicloud enterprises, today announced that it has become a partner of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security Competency, further confirming its technical expertise and the proven success achieved by its customers in protecting AWS environments. This recognition of expertise demonstrates that Vectra has demonstrated deep expertise in cloud security and has proven technology that helps customers further improve their security measures in hybrid architectures and cloud environments.
The AWS Security Competency distinguishes Vectra as a member of the AWS Partner Network (APN), which provides specialized threat detection technology designed to help companies adopt, develop and implement complex security projects on AWS. To receive this designation, APN members must have deep AWS experience and deliver solutions directly on AWS. Vectra achieved AWS Security Competency status through a rigorous qualification process, based on customer references and feedback.
“Becoming an AWS Security Competency Partner is an exciting milestone for Vectra and many of our customers who use AWS as a core component of their daily operations,” he commented Michael Porat, Senior Vice President of Corporate and Business Development di Vectra AI. “Solving threat detection and response challenges for our customers is a top priority, and this recognition further validates our ability to do so in the cloud and wherever organizations choose to configure their environments.”
"We are an AWS shop. By using AWS VPC traffic mirroring, Vectra gives us full visibility into our Nitro-based instances," he said Mirza Baig, IT Security Manager, Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC).
The Vectra platform integrates with AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) traffic mirroring to monitor all infrastructure-as-a-service traffic. It also works with AWS Security Hub to publish Vectra detections as findings to the hub, allowing security teams to correlate attacks detected by Vectra with other data sources to speed threat hunting and incident investigations.
“Achieving the AWS Security Competency demonstrates Vectra's technical expertise and ability to help customers secure their journey through the different stages of cloud adoption, from migration to day-to-day management,” he said. Dudy Matot, Security Segment Lead the AWS.
