The new features allow you to improve productivity, increase security and protect investments in the Identity field
Saviynt, a leading provider of identity and access governance solutions, unveiled new capabilities within its Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud (EIC) platform. The innovations are based on key areas such as optimal identity management, cloud privileged access protection (CPAM) and identity analysis preparatory to the Zero Trust approach.
“Saviynt has always been at the forefront of innovation and this important release confirms our leadership in supporting Digital Transformation processes. Applications drive the modern organization and are at the heart of any digital transformation, and effectively securing and managing thousands of applications has become the biggest hurdle to overcome today,” he said. Alberto Dossena, Regional Sales Director of Saviynt. “The new capabilities reduce the time and cost associated with application onboarding, enabling enterprises to truly accelerate identity programs.”
Faster and more accurate application onboarding
Application onboarding and management functionality integrates, via the platform Saviynt Exchange, with Saviynt-certified templates for app startup, saving deployment time by up to 70%. This improves time-to-value by streamlining the application management process. It also reduces IT overhead and effort by reducing or eliminating common onboarding errors. Saviynt's centralized management allows IT teams to easily monitor the health of all applications through an intuitive user interface, accelerating identity program adoption and lowering total cost of ownership. In addition, enhanced governance capabilities help customers quickly discover and secure business applications without leaving applications or workloads behind.
Smarter identity management
Advanced intelligence and analytics are critical to identity management as organizations leverage automation to reduce security risks. Saviynt's Duplicate Identity Management (DIM) feature leverages advanced analytics and artificial intelligence to help users maintain a 'controlled' set of identities. The new functionality improves visibility and end-user experience by associating duplicate or multiple identities with a verified human or non-human identity, reducing the risk and number of unmanaged identities. Duplicate identities are highlighted for review and consolidated to apply the “one identity for life” approach. DIM is a powerful tool for organizations that are highly distributed or have a lot of M&A activity.
Investment protection on vaulting technologies
Bring-Your-Own-Vault (BYOV) functionality enables enterprises to protect and maximize investments made and customizations made to vaulting technologies. This confirms Saviynt's “Bring Your Own” trend applied to apps, modules and widgets. BYOV allows customers to integrate Saviynt's CPAM solution with any Vault and still use all CPAM features. The seamless integration with CPAM enables all the functionality of the EIC platform and makes the Saviynt connector framework available to store confidential codes and passwords. The Vault Connector can be integrated with other Saviynt supported connectors to manage application code from within a Vault application, importing data and managing privileged access.
In addition to the functionality of BYOV, the CPAM solution is further enhanced with new features including:
- An innovative PAM onboarding solution with best-in-class configurations via Saviynt Exchange
- Windows Service Account Manager can detect and provide automatic password rotation for service accounts and local or Active Directory domain accounts
