Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud 2021 provides integration with Microsoft Azure Active Directory Privileged Identity Management and Microsoft Teams, with expanded Active Directory support to reduce risk exposure and credential theft
Saviynt, a leading provider of intelligent identity and access governance solutions, has released the 2021 version of its Enterprise Identity Cloud (EIC). The release delivers enhanced security and compliance capabilities for Microsoft customers, provides end-to-end privileged identity and connection management through a new Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) PIM integration.
“Modern business ecosystems continue to shape how we think about identity management and how we can improve security and risk management,” he emphasized Alberto Dossena Regional Sales Director for Italy, Switzerland, Greece, Croatia and Hungary by Saviynt. "Access fragmentation continues to increase, and Microsoft customers are demanding capabilities to more accurately manage privileged access to protect cloud resources and ensure identity perimeters are secure and compliant. Our new release helps minimize access misalignment, reduce privilege risk, and expand our services to simplify the adoption of identity and access technologies."
“The new Saviynt release demonstrates the company's continued commitment to helping Microsoft customers solve complex identity and access challenges in the cloud era,” explained Sue Bohn, Vice President of Program Management for Identity and Network Access at Microsoft Corporation. “With better integrations with Azure AD, Azure AD PIM and Teams, our customers can quickly monitor security initiatives and ensure secure access across their entire Microsoft ecosystem.”
Built on Azure AD, Saviynt's Enterprise Identity Cloud eliminates the need for multiple identity management products. The 2021 release of Saviynt EIC includes features:
- Integration with New Azure PIM provides end-to-end, multicloud privileged identity and session management: Saviynt EIC seamlessly extends the native capabilities provided by Azure AD PIM, which is included in the P2 license capabilities, for just-in-time (JIT) and time-bound access with more accurate access coverage for Azure AD-connected applications. Enables secure, privileged session management for monitoring, control and reporting to reduce the risk of exposure and theft of sensitive credentials. Saviynt privileged access governance for Azure AD-connected applications ensures consistent review and right-sizing of roles and profiles over time to ensure compliance.
- Integration with Microsoft Teams allows you to access approvals from anywhere: Identity solutions should not require users to log in to the platform to request or approve access. Organizations that have implemented Microsoft Teams can use Saviynt EIC to submit and approve access requests in real time. Saviynt also offers a mobile app, browser plug-in, native ServiceNow app, and Slack integration to meet users wherever they are working, to speed up access requests and approvals.
- Active Directory (AD) support in Cloud Privileged Access Management minimizes identity sprawl and optimizes AD management: Using integrated AD and ADSI connectors, privileged AD accounts are armored and passwords rotated using Saviynt's Cloud Privileged Access Management (CPAM). CPAM offers just-in-time role augmentation for AD accounts and privileged access to credentials for emergency access requests. For administrators, CPAM provides credential-free access to AD management tools, such as Active Directory User and Computer.
Additional features included in the 2021 release of Saviynt EIC:
- New Smart App Onboarding accelerates governance across apps, data and workloads: As organizations accelerate their transformation to the cloud, the proliferation of apps, data collaboration platforms and IaaS workloads often go unmanaged, introducing significant challenges and security risks. With this release, Saviynt accelerates onboarding across all applications and workloads with a new user-friendly workflow experience.
- Match & Merge makes identity intelligent: The Identity Match & Merge feature improves the entire experience, creating a unified identity even if users have different roles in the organization. This increases visibility for security teams by identifying duplicate or multiple identities that can be traced back to a single verified human identity and reducing the risk of having unmanaged identities.
- The new certification experience improves productivity and efficiency: Ensuring governance requires quick and simple access review procedures. Saviynt 2021 improves the user interface and filters for faster certification actions and offers new tools to detect high-risk access and alert auditors.
Saviynt EIC 2021 is available to all Saviynt customers.
