The industry-leading cybersecurity platform provider with autonomous response capabilities allows local governments to improve cyber defenses and protect critical infrastructure and information in a simple and compliant way
SentinelOne, provider of a cybersecurity platform with autonomous response capabilities, inaugurates a new Virtual Data Center in Australia. The implementation comes after the company was granted Protected IRAP status for piattaforma Singularity™ XDR and will help government agencies and local governments meet data sovereignty requirements and strengthen the country's cyber defenses.
The Virtual Data Center, which will be hosted by AWS, SentinelOne's strategic partner, is born at a crucial moment for Australia, as the government is busy redefining its cybersecurity strategy, making reporting regulations more rigorous and modifying incident response systems. All this to stay abreast of the evolving threat landscape and enhance the nation's security capacity.
“With the intensification of the spread and complexity of cyberattacks, it is essential that government administrations have advanced, intelligence-based solutions that allow them to protect systems and information,” said Jason Duerden, Regional Director Australia and New Zealand at SentinelOne. “We understand the specific needs that local institutions must manage and provide a unique platform that they can use to detect, respond and remediate threats in real time and in a compliant manner.”
SentinelOne's Singularity platform is an integrated solution that combines endpoint protection, cloud security, identity threat detection and response, and data ingestion with analytics in a single console using a native back end and the industry's highest-performing security data lake. It is also the first
“With SentinelOne, government agencies can harness the power of emerging technologies, such as generative AI, which cybercriminals are increasingly using in their attacks, to protect critical infrastructure and systems of national importance,” commented Duerden. “And we will continue to invest in and deliver innovations that help them prevent threats, reduce risks and keep the nation safe, while meeting the standards and requirements they must meet.”
