S Ventures is the $100 million fund launched to promote attention on the topic of corporate cybersecurity and Data Innovation systems
SentinelOne, provider of a cybersecurity platform with autonomous response capabilities, announced the new S Ventures, a $100 million fund that will invest in the next generation of companies capable of redefining the security and data sector.
"At SentinelOne we are the pioneers of a data-driven approach to providing autonomous cybersecurity. When we started, our investors, who saw the potential and prospects of our vision, were fundamental. Today, I am proud to see that SentinelOne invests in future innovators, helping to ensure the continuity of a legacy of innovation", he said Tomer Weingarten, CEO at SentinelOne. "Our focus on cybersecurity and data innovation brings SentinelOne's technology and engineering knowledge, go-to-market and customers to S Ventures' portfolio of companies. We are committed to investing in innovative solutions that solve mission-critical problems for large organizations and the digital community at large."
S Ventures will invest at every stage of the startup lifecycle, with a particular focus on security and data companies that will propose innovative use cases in the Singularity Marketplace, SentinelOne's open application ecosystem that allows security teams to expand projects developed on the Singularity XDR platform. S Ventures' new investments include:
- Armorblox, a revolutionary API-based email security platform that leverages machine learning and natural language processing to detect and prevent sophisticated threats.
- Noetic Cyber, an ongoing IT asset management and control platform that gives teams unified visibility and actionable insights into the security posture of all assets across cloud and on-premise systems.
"With S Ventures' investment and our integration with the Singularity DJ Sampath, co-founder and CEO of Armorblox.
“Together with S Ventures and Singularity XDR, we are providing security teams with critical information and intelligence assets to help them better manage the attack surface and reduce cyber risk,” he commented Paul Ayers, co-founder and CEO of Noetic Cyber.
The investments join S Ventures' portfolio companies Torq, a no-code security automation platform that accelerates complex threat response workflows, and Laminar, the platform that provides comprehensive data observability in the public cloud to reduce the attack surface and detect data loss in real time.
In addition to providing financial capital, SentinelOne will help drive portfolio company innovation by accelerating their path to market and engineering scaling experience. Startups will have greater visibility in the Singularity Marketplace and SentinelOne's technology ecosystem, and will benefit from joint marketing opportunities and SentinelOne's partner network.
“S Ventures is an extension of our commitment to innovation and confirms our partner-first approach,” he said Rob Salvagno, SVP, Corporate Development & Ventures at SentinelOne. “From a simple startup we have now become a fast-growing company and we want to share our experience to collaborate with a new generation of companies that deal with security and data and which are now charting their own path”.
