Arrow Electronics, a global technology provider, has signed a new distribution agreement with Broadcom for VMware solutions that extends to 20 European countries.
Under the new contract, Arrow will continue to support the channel in the countries where VMware was a distributor before the acquisition by Broadcom, as well as in the Czech Republic, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Slovakia and Switzerland.
Arrow and its channel partners are helping Broadcom advance VMware's private cloud infrastructure and transition its broad VMware customer base to the new subscription licensing model for VMware software. Arrow will bring its expertise and experience to local channel partners as they shape VMware's new go-to-market strategy and help ensure customers receive maximum value from their investments in VMware software.
As part of the agreement, Arrow will continue to provide VMware's entire portfolio of private cloud infrastructure solutions, including new solutions such as VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), VMware vSphere Foundation (VVF), VMware vSphere Standard, and VMware vSphere Essentials Plus Kits and Standards, as well as additional products such as VMware vSAN and VMware Live Recovery.
Arrow will expand its role in providing technical support for certain products and customers, enabling access to VMware support and expertise in the customer's preferred language and time. This service provided by Arrow for select VMware solutions is the result of an extension of Broadcom's support, which allows Arrow to improve business customer interaction through accessibility, expert knowledge and personalized assistance.
By partnering with Arrow, reseller partners have access to Arrow's technical knowledge, training programs and specialized resources. This enables partners to provide high-quality support services throughout the entire lifecycle of professional users. Together, Broadcom and Arrow will continue to offer integrated support to help ensure the highest levels of service for customers of all sizes.
