Arrow Electronics, a global technology provider, has extended its European distribution agreement in 2021 to expand into Italy with the internationally renowned cybersecurity company SWAT.
OPSWAT solutions provide customers with malware protection and threat detection capabilities within an organization's existing IT solutions and critical infrastructure.
As advanced cyberattacks increasingly overcome traditional anti-malware defenses based on signatures and behavioral mechanisms, Arrow and OPSWAT recognize the critical need to strengthen security measures to combat zero-day attacks and the sophisticated cyber threats present in the area. The expanded agreement with OPSWAT aims to provide comprehensive protection for organizations and their employees, customers, suppliers, collaborators, visitors and each other's used devices, which may pose potential threats to infrastructure security.
“We are excited to expand the partnership with Arrow Electronics in Italy,” said Alessandro Porro, Vice President of Global Channels at OPSWAT. “This extension reflects our commitment to providing world-class cybersecurity solutions across Europe. As cyber threats continue to evolve, our partnership with Arrow ensures organizations in Italy have the advanced protection they need to safeguard their critical infrastructure and sensitive information. Together, we are building a more robust and secure digital environment for the region.”
“Arrow Electronics continues to drive innovation through its channel partners and service providers, who work closely with OPSWAT's system integrators and technology partners,” confirms Michele Puccio, Country Manager of Arrow's Enterprise Computing Solutions division in Italy. “The extension into Italy is a natural progression, which derives from Arrow Electronics' confidence in the performance offered by OPSWAT in other European regions. The integration of the solution into our portfolio means that many more customers will benefit from the improved possibilities of protecting themselves from attacks.”
