The new company presents itself as a perfect mix of professional consultancy and software in the selection and management of the best supplies in the ICT sector
Babel is the new consultancy company that presents itself as an independent and innovative player in the management of tenders and governance in the ICT sector. Based on a proprietary software platform entirely designed by Riccardo Rossi and Niccolò Lentini, who respectively assume the roles of CEO and Commercial Director, Babel combines advanced automation and sector expertise to offer innovative and customized solutions.
The company offers consultancy services, enriched by the potential of the proprietary Babel Suite platform, for the management of the entire life cycle of ICT contracts. It starts from technological design, to the creation of tenders for the selection of suppliers and services to purchase, then through project management and the putting into production of what is contracted by the customer, up to the control of costs and consumption relating to the services implemented. Babel consultants provide all services through the use of the platform, guaranteeing the customer efficiency, saving of time and resources and data certainty.
Babel aims to automate and optimize business processes, reducing tender management times and improving operational efficiency. The platform uses a dedicated algorithm to evaluate offers, provide market benchmarks, guarantee the security of business decisions and to select the most suitable suppliers, thus ensuring sustainable and targeted spending management.
The target Babel addresses is that of medium-large sized companies, both nationally and internationally, which need advanced tools to optimize ICT investments and improve their competitiveness. In particular, it is aimed at IT Managers, Procurement Managers and Management Control, offering them an effective solution to simplify complex processes and obtain tangible results.
Babel is the result of the strategic vision of its creators who, after the experience acquired in HiSolution and thanks also to the opportunities offered by the professional and stimulating environment in which they were able to operate, decided to create a separate reality that aims to be the management model for ICT and Utilities services based on a data-driven approach. This allows Babel to operate independently with the aim of becoming the point of reference for companies that wish to innovate and optimize their business processes.
Going into detail, the proprietary platform Babel Suite includes specialized modules for managing each phase of the contract life cycle:
Babel Data: dashboard to monitor Telco and IT assets, contracts, costs and provisioning in real time.
Babel Negotiation: technological and economic benchmarking, support in the creation of technical specifications and management of tenders with advanced algorithms for evaluating offers.
Babel Provisioning: project management for the activation and testing of services, to ensure compliance and performance.
Babel Governance: automated reporting for cost and consumption control, with support in managing refunds and credit notes.
"Babel is the result of experience and vertical expertise gained in the world of Telco and IT, a professional path that has accompanied me for over 14 years. In this period, thanks to the meeting with Niccolò, we had the opportunity to delve deeper into the market, acquiring a growing awareness of the needs, trends and challenges faced by companies -, he explains Riccardo Rossi, CEO of Babel – The main critical issue lies in the complexity of the correct management of all phases of the contract life cycle, which involves wasting time in strategic decisions, a high commitment in managing activities and results that are often not in line with the best technical-economic solution available on the market. This is why Babel was born: to be a trait d'union, a single repository of information designed to simplify and optimize the management of ICT contracts for the customer".
“At a time where there is extremely high attention to investments in the ICT sector to maintain competitiveness, we want to help companies identify areas of 'cost saving', and to optimize and maximize investments -, is the comment of Niccolò Lentini, Commercial Director of Babel – Today we are ready to offer our suite of services to any type of negotiation in the technological sector, from Telco to Unified Communication, from NOC, SOC, cybersecurity services, up to networking and the cloud. We are also working to make the commercial network widespread in order to be able to involve new external partners in the future for the joint development of the business".
Looking to the future, Babel has ambitious plans: in addition to consolidating its position in the ICT world, the company intends to expand its winning model to other sectors such as energy, fleet management and SaaS applications.
The increasingly advanced artificial intelligence mechanisms in the platform will be a strategic element for the improvement of all the functions present to provide more added value to customers.
