The manager will lead Acronis' global security strategies and initiatives focused on Cyber Protection
Acronis, a global leader in cybersecurity and data protection, announces the appointment of Gerald Beuchelt as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). In this role, Beuchelt will be responsible for implementing Acronis' security strategies with the goal of ensuring the protection of all information, systems and technologies, among Acronis' top priorities.
As a key member of the executive management responsible for security, Beuchelt will lead the international team of professionals working in the areas of IT, security and compliance. The manager will oversee the company's IT infrastructure, including help desk functions, server and network management and much more. It will also support Acronis' growing influence on the cyber security community through new research, threat intelligence activities and reporting managed by the company. Acronis Threat Research Unit (TRU).

Beuchelt has gained decades of experience in top positions in the IT security sector. After holding various roles at LogMeIn, he most recently served as CISO of Sprinklr Inc. Previously, he was treasurer and board member of the Boston chapter of Infragard – the public-private partnership program of the FBI and the National Cyber Security Alliance – as well as Chief Security Officer at Demandware Inc. (a company acquired by Salesforce) and Principal Information Security Engineer at MITER Corporation.
