Designed to respond to a wide range of application contexts, the DMS-1250 series is ideal for corporate environments, hospitality sectors, multi-dwelling complexes (MDUs) and data centers. A distinguishing feature of the series is the ability to support multi-gigabit speeds, with 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports designed to handle applications that require high bandwidth, such as high-definition video streaming or real-time data transfers. The 10 Gbps uplink ports, available in both Ethernet and SFP+ formats, further improve the efficiency and flexibility of enterprise networks, supporting the growth of complex IT infrastructures.
The PoE models in the series, such as the DMS-1250-10SP and the DMS-1250-12TP, offer a power budget of up to 240W, allowing you to power a wide range of devices. Among the innovative features stand out Perpetual PoE, which guarantees continuous power even during switch reboots, ensuring operational continuity in every situation, and intelligent fans adjustable to five levels, which can be set to "silent" mode for noise-sensitive environments.
The DMS-1250 Series switches are also designed to provide advanced security and network protection. Among the features included are the D-Link Safeguard Engine™, 802.1X authentication and access control lists (ACLs), which protect the network from external threats. Additionally, all 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports feature surge protection up to 6 kV, preventing infrastructure damage caused by lightning or electrical instabilities.
