The leading AI-based security company begins a new cycle of growth and profitability with a new CFO
SentinelOne (NYSE: S), a global leader in AI-powered cybersecurity, has appointed Sonalee Parekh as Chief Financial Officer, effective March 24, 2026. Parekh will oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations globally, including FP&A, accounting, tax and treasury, internal audit and investor relations. Barry Padgett will continue to serve as interim CFO through Parekh's start date, managing the company's upcoming fiscal fourth quarter and full year 2026 budget and ensuring a smooth transition.
With more than 25 years of experience in publicly traded software and technology companies, Parekh will lead SentinelOne's finance division and shape the company's financial strategy as it expands, while solidifying its leadership in AI-powered cybersecurity.
Parekh joins SentinelOne with strong experience in publicly traded companies and a successful track record of developing high-growth software platforms. Most recently, as Chief Financial Officer of Asana, he led the global finance organization and played a key role in advancing the company's multi-product, AI-focused strategy and improving its profitability. Previously, he served as CFO of RingCentral, where he helped grow business to more than $2 billion in annual recurring revenue while significantly improving margins through rigorous financial discipline. He also held financial leadership roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, including division CFO and head of business development and investor relations.
