The vendor, which develops solutions for easy and secure access to technology, increased its customer base by 30% and global turnover by 5% compared to 2017.
Praim, world leader in the supply of complete systems for the creation and management of Thin & Zero Client software and hardware workstations, presented the economic results obtained in 2018, highlighting satisfaction with the positive trend achieved. Turnover grew by 5% and the number of new customers in the portfolio recorded an increase of 30%, considering that there are over 800 companies of all sizes and nationalities who, in the last year alone, have purchased or updated a Praim solution. In addition to the creation of new contracts, with companies of the caliber of OVS, SEA, Società Metropolitana Acque Torino and the evolution of existing projects on Mediamarket, Calzedonia and Yoox, contracts have been signed with important companies from the offices of Spain and the United Kingdom, with clients such as Balearia Eurolineas and the Government of Equatorial Guinea. At the same time, the workforce of new resources joining the group also grew by 10%, with attention to technical skills and expertise dedicated to the qualification of certified partners.
In particular, 2018 saw the company busy integrating its systems with existing platforms, starting from speeding up and simplifying access to Citrix environments. Thus, Praim Berry, the first Thin Client based on Raspberry Pi 3 B+ and Agile4Pi, the software that transforms Raspeberry Pi endpoints into true Thin Clients optimized for access to Citrix HDX, were presented, two solutions that guaranteed a turnover higher than expectations.
"Despite the economic situation still being fluctuating, we continue to record a positive trend in the business - underlines Franco Broccardo, President of Praim. The turnover and the number of global customers have grown significantly, thanks also to the results obtained on the Spanish market. We will continue, as leaders for 30 years in the Thin & Zero Client solutions sector, to increase our competitiveness, creating future-proof solutions".
Among the objectives set for 2019, the company includes the development of new products to always ensure the best Customer Experience. The new Praim range therefore expands by orienting its offer towards software solutions that allow you to transfer all the management and security and flexibility functions of the Thin Client stations also to PC-type stations. The renovation of the site, recently completed, goes precisely in this direction, and with the reserved area "MyPraim" we intend to simplify all business processes for customers and partners, providing precise and direct communication, improving the opening of support tickets and for expiring maintenance contracts, licensing requests and much more.
"My Praim is the result of a year and a half of continuous analysis - highlights Stefano Bonmassar, Chief Sales Officer of Praim - and as a partner in innovation we want to continue to create solutions designed on the needs of our customers, aiming increasingly at the simplification and full integration of all the technological tools currently present in the company. With MyPraim we also want to facilitate strategies and programs on the channel, ensuring greater autonomy for our distributors in planning and implementing marketing campaigns. Our mission is to ensure a new complete system for creating and managing powerful, secure, efficient hardware and software workstations ready for the cloud world, accompanying customers step-by-step in their Digital Transformation process.”
The next few months will be full of news: Praim has a new version of the ThinOX4PC 64bit in the pipeline, an updated release of Agile4Pi and the Thin Client, as well as a review of the Partner Program, aimed at further qualifying and specializing the 600 dealers already active globally.
