The CIS relies on Qualys to provide its members with continuous monitoring of digital certificates and SSL / TLS configurations

The Center for Internet Security has integrated Qualys CertView into the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC).

Qualys, Inc. (NASDAQ: QLYS), a pioneer and leading provider of cloud-based security and compliance solutions, announced its partnership with the Center for Internet Security (CIS) which ensures associates have complete visibility on their websites , on SSL / TLS configurations and on certificates exposed to the internet.

“Integrating Qualys CertView into our services will allow our members to receive real-time alerts and ratings for every external site,” said Thomas Duffy of MS-ISAC and Senior Vice President of Operations and Services at CIS. “By leveraging the scalability of the Qualys Cloud Platform to precisely analyze all associates' external certificates, we will be able to help them resolve potential security and compliance issues in a timely manner.”

The integration of Qualys CertView in the CIS Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center allows you to monitor the presence of certificates that are expiring, vulnerable or with configuration errors and to promptly notify associates in personalized monthly reports, avoiding service interruptions image damage.
"CIS has developed an effective service to help affiliated organizations gain full visibility into their security and compliance status and Qualys is proud to support them in cataloging and evaluating digital certificates exposed to the internet," said Philippe Courtot, President and Qualys CEO. "The integration of Qualys CertView into the services offered to customers helps protect the ever-growing portfolio of web and digital offerings."
A broader collaboration for the benefit of the entire community
The integration of Qualys CertView into CIS is just one of many collaborations already active between the two organizations. Qualys researchers regularly contribute to the definition of CIS benchmarks for Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform and have collaborated in the past on benchmarks developed for Oracle Linux, IBM AIX and Microsoft IIS. Qualys offers CIS policies ready for use in enterprise PC (Policy Compliance) solutions and makes them available free of charge through the Community Edition. CIS certifies all Qualys PC policies for control logic and reporting, and Qualys PC has more CIS-certified policies than any other compliance solution.
CIS Benchmarks and CIS Controls are guidelines shared and developed by security professionals, who remain focused on performance and not profit, with the assurance of protecting systems from new and growing cyber threats.
