Integrated protection for workloads and the orchestration of Azure container that does not require software implementations or upgrades
Qualys, Inc. (NASDAQ: QLYS), a pioneer and leading provider of cloud-based security and compliance solutions, announced a partnership with Microsoft that includes the integration of Qualys Vulnerability Management and Qualys Container Security Apps into Microsoft Azure.
Following this integration, customers using virtual machines and containers in Azure Security Center will have even more advanced vulnerability detection capabilities. The new capabilities will be available, at no additional cost, to the virtual machines of all Azure Standard Edition Security Center customers and to customers using Azure Kubernetes Services Advanced Threat Protection.

The solution uses Qualys' built-in cloud agents and container sensors and does not require software management or updates as it is a cloud service.

The new solution was announced at the Microsoft Ignite conference. New and existing Azure Security Center Standard Edition customers can take advantage of it immediately.
