Qualys's new integration offers ServiceNow customers a single, reliable and constantly updated source of information for every cloud environment

Qualys CMDB Sync for Service Graph Connector helps companies bring complete, contextualized information about their assets into ServiceNow simply, quickly and reliably. This enables a consistent, consolidated set of data across all of their hybrid IT environments, allowing IT, security and compliance teams to use the same information to provide concrete answers to questions such as: which products are affected by a vulnerability, who is responsible for maintaining these systems, and how can security and risk management policies be proactively enforced going forward?
"We use the ServiceNow platform to automate and track workflows and the integration with the Qualys Platform is essential. Qualys Global IT Asset Inventory gives us continuous, detailed and always up-to-date visibility into our assets, whether it be changes to hardware, configuration or applications. In addition to providing us with a continuous inventory, Qualys VMDR, together with the Qualys Cloud Agents, helps us evaluate vulnerabilities, configurations and policies. It is very important to have a unified 360 view degrees of all assets and their security level, so that IT and security teams can collaborate on managing the entire lifecycle of assets,” he commented Julie Sutton, Information Security Manager, City and County di Denver.
“ServiceNow has developed an effective next-generation system of record in Service Graph, which makes it easier to do business,” he commented Philippe Courtot, Chairman and CEO of Qualys. "The Qualys CMDB App provides a single, reliable source of information that keeps the ServiceNow CMDB up-to-date with data from across a customer's entire hybrid environment. This is critical for security because you can't effectively protect what you don't know."
“We are pleased that Qualys has integrated its Asset Inventory CMDB Sync solution into the Service Graph Connector program to further improve satisfaction, build trust, accelerate time to value and reduce risk for our customers,” he said. Jeff Hausman, Vice President e General Manager IT Operations Management, Security e CMDB di ServiceNow.
The Qualys Cloud Platform solution, thanks to multiple sensors for data collection, including Qualys Cloud Agents, collects and constantly updates the complete inventory of IT resources, monitoring on-premise, cloud and remote endpoints. It also integrates this data into Qualys' innovative vulnerability management solution, VMDR®, to automatically create an up-to-date Global Asset Inventory, identify new devices connecting to the network, create and monitor groups of devices, identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations in real time, and prioritize remediation or neutralization activities. In short, it is a program that helps companies manage the lifecycle of assets, from discovery to neutralization, in hybrid environments: on-premise, cloud, containers and IoT/OT.
