New recognition for ESET
The company, a global leader in the cybersecurity market, was again awarded Top Product in the last few years report AV-TEST Product Review and Certification both for the range business both for home products consumer. The business offer for Windows, ESET Endpoint Security 7.3 ed ESET Internet Security 14.0, dedicated to the consumer segment, achieved maximum scores in the Protection, Usability and Performance categories, obtaining the Top Product certificate in the November and December 2020 tests. This success follows that obtained in the August and October reports in which ESET Endpoint Security 7.3 and ESET Internet Security 13.2 obtained the Top Product award.
AV-TEST, a leading independent testing organization, uses one of the largest collections of malware samples in the world to create realistic environments on which to perform highly accurate analyses.
The tests rated the best Windows antivirus software for home and business users in three main categories: protection, performance, and usability. In the evaluations for both segments, ESET solutions obtained 6, the maximum score, both in the Protection category, which evaluates the level of protection and detection of malware, including web and email threats, and in the Usability category which measures the impact on use through indicators on false alarms and false detections, as well as unnecessary blocking of websites. Finally, also in the Performance category, which analyzes the average influence on the speed of the computer, both consumer and business products obtained 6 points out of 6, improving the score of 5.5 obtained in the August/October tests.
