The vendor aims to recognize little-known changemakers who help make our planet a better place
ESET, a global leader in the cybersecurity market, announces the launch of “Heroes of Progress”, an initiative aimed at finding visionary thinkers who have contributed to progress in various sectors, thanks to the use of technology.
Behind every form of progress there are brilliant minds, often outside the box, who contribute to the creation of great enterprises without the importance of their work being recognised. ESET is looking for these excellences with the aim of bringing their exploits to light.
Applications are already open and will close on 26 June 2022, and can be proposed via the dedicated website of Heroes of Progress. To participate it is necessary to prepare a 300-word text, which describes the most important works created by the candidate with a technological approach. This includes any technology designed, adopted and optimized that has contributed to the advancement of industries, societies or communities. To be eligible for the award, applicants must work in at least one of the sectors listed below, be actively involved in the work for which they have been selected and be over 18 years old.

A jury of experts, chaired by Ignacio Sbampato, Chief Business Officer of ESET, will review all applications and the list of changemakers will be announced in September 2022.
