There will be four events in 2022. The first appointment is set for next 23 April with the Walk and Middle Distance Night, now in its eleventh edition, which will take place at the Arena Civica in Milan.
The event, born in 2011 from an idea by Giorgio Rondelli, national athletics technician, sports journalist and television commentator, during the previous 10 editions saw the best middle-distance runners and blue walkers in the race.

This year, Giovanna Epis, Olympic athlete and absolute Italian marathon champion at the 2020 National Championships, will represent ESET Italy as the main sponsor of TopTraining events.
Walk & Middle Distance Night by ESET (WMD-NIGHT) is from this year an international athletics meeting, a track race for the youth and absolute categories, which provides for the participation of over 400 of the best international athletes of the disciplines of march and middle distance. The competitions will start at 14:00 with the youth teams. From 6.00 pm the key races of the meeting with the Italian record attempt by the Italian athlete Nadia Battocletti in the 2-mile race.
