
Kerins succeeds Michael J. Long who assumes the role of Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors
Arrow Electronics, a global technology provider, announced the appointment of Sean J. Kerins as President and CEO, effective June 1, 2022. Effective June 1, 2022, Michael J. Long will serve as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors by Arrow. Additionally, Arrow Electronics said Kerins will join Arrow's Board of Directors, effective at its next annual shareholder meeting on May 11, 2022.
Kerins, who boasts 15 years of Expertise in Arrow, has been Chief Operating Officer since December 2020, while since 2014 he held the role of president of the Global Enterprise Computing Solutions Business Division of Arrow and, before that, that of President of the North America Region, always for the same business. Before entering Arrow, in 2007 Kerins worked ten years in EMC, maintaining assignments of commercial cut and responsibility in the Professional Service, then moving on to progressively more prestigious roles in Coopers & Lybrand Consulting and also dealing with Industrial Engineer in General Motors.
Kerins holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Syracuse University and a master's degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
