Kerins succeeds Michael J. Long who assumes the role of Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors
Arrow Electronics, a global technology provider, announced the appointment of Sean J. Kerins as President and CEO, effective June 1, 2022. Effective June 1, 2022, Michael J. Long will serve as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors by Arrow. Additionally, Arrow Electronics said Kerins will join Arrow's Board of Directors, effective at its next annual shareholder meeting on May 11, 2022.
Kerins, che vanta 15 anni di expertise in Arrow, è stato Chief Operating Officer dal dicembre 2020, mentre dal 2014 ha ricoperto il ruolo di Presidente della divisione Global Enterprise Computing Solutions Business di Arrow e, prima ancora, quello di Presidente della regione Nord America, sempre per lo stesso business. Prima di entrare in Arrow, nel 2007 Kerins ha lavorato dieci anni in EMC, mantenendo incarichi di taglio commerciale e di responsabilità nei professional service, passando poi a ruoli progressivamente più prestigiosi in Coopers & Lybrand Consulting e occupandosi anche di industial engineer in General Motors.
Kerins holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Syracuse University and a master's degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
