The company was named for the Security Independent Software Vendor of the Year category
Vectra AI, a cybersecurity leader in cyber threat detection and remediation for hybrid and multicloud enterprises, today announced that it has been named a finalist in the Security Independent Software Vendor (ISV) of the Year category of the Microsoft Security Excellence Awards. Vectra was selected from an international shortlist of industry leaders with proven success in the security industry demonstrated over the past year.
Vectra allows Microsoft customers to complete Microsoft 365 protection along with the Defender Secure Score, to enhance the capabilities of its Security Operations Centers (SOC) and to prevent attackers from attacking systems thanks to the deep integration of its platform both with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint with either Microsoft Azure Sentinel.
“Millions of organizations use Microsoft and its suite of productivity and collaboration tools every day, making it an incredibly attractive and highly valuable target for attackers,” he said Michael Porat, Senior Vice President, Corporate & Business Development di Vectra AI. “Over the past few years, we have released several product integrations that provide Microsoft customers with detailed security guidance, greater visibility, and greater control over data center and on the environments cloud, Azure AD e M365, helping security teams stop and isolate attacks as effectively as possible. We are honored to be a finalist in Microsoft's Security Excellence Awards as we continue to work together with one common goal: preventing and stopping malware activity."
At the Microsoft Security Excellence Awards on June 5, 2022, Microsoft will celebrate finalists in 10 categories that recognize partners as “pioneers,” “solution innovators,” “customer champions,” “technology champions,” and “innovators.” Previously known as the Microsoft Security 20/20 Awards, the award in which Vectra participates has reached its third edition this year and intends to recognize Microsoft partners for the excellent work done in the field of security. All finalists are members of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA), an ecosystem of independent software vendors and managed security service providers (MSSPs) that have integrated their security products and services with Microsoft security technology.
“The Microsoft Intelligent Security Association has grown into a vibrant ecosystem of the most reliable and trusted security software vendors from around the world,” said Maria Thomson, Responsabile della Microsoft Intelligent Security Association. "Our members share Microsoft's commitment to working with the entire cybersecurity community to improve our customers' ability to more quickly predict, detect, and respond to security threats. We are thrilled to recognize these incredible finalists in the Microsoft Security Excellence Awards and recognize their achievements over the past year."
MISA was established to bring together leaders from Microsoft, ISVs and MSSPs to work together to counter security threats and make the world a safer place. Voting to decide the winners of the Microsoft Security Excellence Awards will be industry experts from MISA and Microsoft, who will thus have the opportunity to reward their colleagues for the work carried out on behalf of their mutual customers.
