Ana Maria Ciurea, Peter Lambrecht and Rastislav Jasenovsky expand their roles to promote the region's development
Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), global provider of critical digital infrastructure solutions and continuity solutions, announced changes at the top of the company in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The novelties include the promotion of Ana Maria Ciurea to VP commercial operations, the appointment of Peter Lambrecht as VP sales and Rastislav Jasenovsky in the role of VP operations for infrastructure and solutions (I&S), with the aim of continuing to support Vertiv's commitment to supporting customers on their journey to market success.
Ciurea, who has been working at Vertiv for 15 years, has coordinated the sales strategies of the commercial team in EMEA for the last four years as sales strategy and operations director. In his new role as VP commercial operations he will continue to manage the commercial direction, but will have broader responsibilities, including oversight of end-to-end processes, to ensure overall efficiency and optimal distribution of resources. The new role will be the focus of the organization to improve cross-functional effectiveness and identify solutions to optimize customer service.

Lambrecht will be promoted to VP sales for the EMEA area, after having worked at Vertiv for over 20 years covering multiple roles including VP EMEA of the IS/IT sector, country manager for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy, and VP strategic accounts in EMEA. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving product and service sales and go-to-market programs for Vertiv's key accounts, national accounts and channel partners in the EMEA region. In addition to driving revenue growth, pricing initiatives and profits across all countries, Lambrecht will continue to coordinate and empower sales teams in the region, raising the bar for programs, tools and management to create an innovative and inclusive culture focused on growth.
Jasenovsky has been with Vertiv for 19 years and has played a key role in leading the strategies and execution of the various businesses in EMEA. His appointment as VP operations I&S EMEA will strengthen the bond between sales and operations leaders and their teams, to further improve the quality of customer service. Jasenovsky recently held the responsibility of senior director operations EMEA and general manager for Slovakia, while today he will be one of the key members of the EMEA leadership team, promoting collaboration between the various functions in the region and the achievement of set objectives.
"Ensuring strong leadership in sales and operations, while developing internal talent, has been a priority for Vertiv in 2022. The new promotions not only align with our strategy of improving services for EMEA customers, but also show the ongoing commitment to improve the skills and competences of our staff and, in turn, offer them new opportunities. With these new appointments to the leaders of the EMEA team I am confident that we can continue to improve the level of satisfaction of all Vertiv customers in the region,” he commented Karsten Winther, president for the EMEA region di Vertiv.
