The XDR platform supports Amazon EC2 cloud virtual servers powered by AWS Graviton2 and Graviton3 processors
SentinelOne, provider of a cybersecurity platform with autonomous response capabilities, announced support for AWS Graviton and its participation in the Graviton Service Ready Program. With Singularity XDR protecting Amazon EC2 instances powered by AWS Graviton processors, SentinelOne ensures that enterprises can securely leverage the full suite of infrastructure solutions offered by AWS.
“Businesses have embraced the cloud because it allows for much more flexibility, but security concerns prevent them from benefiting from fast, seamless deployments,” he said Guy Gertner, Vice President of Product Management di SentinelOne. With support for AWS Graviton, SentinelOne enables AWS customers to deploy solutions faster and more cost-effectively without sacrificing security." SentinelOne offers comprehensive support for AWS, and we are proud to continue our partnership with Amazon while protecting Graviton, customers can deploy applications faster than ever."
Amazon EC2 offers the widest range of servers, including many powered by the latest generation Intel and AMD processors. AWS Graviton processors add even more flexibility in helping customers optimize the performance and costs of their workloads. The Graviton processor powers Amazon EC2 general purpose, compute optimized, and memory optimized cloud servers. Customers can enjoy up to 40 percent faster performance than comparable next-generation x86-based instances for a wide range of workloads, including application servers, microservices, high-performance computing, CPU-based machine learning, video coding, electronic design, gaming, open-source databases and cache storage.
“Elementary Robotics relies on SentinelOne to protect our containerized workloads on AWS, including our Graviton-based EC2 instances,” said Nathaniel Black, Director of DevOps di Elementary Robotics. “Thanks to SentinelOne's support for Graviton, the transition from EC2 x86 instances occurred without any impact on workload stability or resource consumption.”
With SentinelOne ready to deploy on AWS Graviton, customers can take full advantage of the entire portfolio of AWS infrastructure options without fear of their cloud migration projects being blocked by security issues. With virtual machines and containers in the cloud increasingly targeted by hackers, runtime protection, detection and response are critical to the security of cloud workloads. SentinelOne's Singularity platform includes AI-powered protection, EDR and application control to protect cloud workloads through cloud-native and hybrid cloud properties, which identify and neutralize threats before they impact the cloud environment.
