Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, today unveiled its new sales team organization in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) to address the needs of key emerging markets and support future growth. The new geographical areas identified, in parallel with a renewed focus on customer management, will help support the growing markets of the cloud and colocation, telecommunications and edge sectors, while at the same time enhancing synergies and the sharing of best practices between the various teams.
“Our organization must evolve to stay ahead in an extremely dynamic market and to continue to best serve our customers, who remain our number one priority,” he said Peter Lambrecht, VP Sales di Vertiv in EMEA. "The main objective is to strengthen collaboration with our customers, ensuring that they can always count on experts in their specific sector capable of meeting their needs. We are shaping our sales organization to add value to customers' business models."
To this end, the Vertiv sales organization, already based on strategic segments, was remodeled through the creation of international teams focused on specific vertical markets, with the aim of increasing knowledge and skills in key sectors such as telecommunications, colocation and hyperscale sectors, retail and large businesses.
In particular, among the important news it is announced that Jean-Pierre Tournemaine takes on the role of Sales Regional Director for Southern Europe (Italy, France, Spain and Portugal). Stefano Mozzato, previously Country Manager for Italy, becomes Colocation & Hyperscale Strategic Segment Director for Southern Europe, while Andrea Faeti is promoted to Sales Enterprise Accounts Director for Italy, thus taking commercial responsibility for Italian customers not included in the regional strategic segments.
This new organization will allow greater integration between the customer management and service assistance structures, in such a way as to provide customers with increasingly complete management support for the life cycle of their infrastructures, guaranteeing an even more accentuated level of attention on TCO (total cost of ownership), as well as on sustainability. The new strategies will also help accelerate growth and consolidate Vertiv's market leadership, increasing support for key accounts on the one hand and supporting the IT distribution channel on the other.
The changes made will also allow us to accelerate talent development by offering specific and structured internal career paths. “As the company continues to grow, talent development remains a priority of our strategies and evolution,” he said Wayne Searle, VP HR di Vertiv in EMEA. “We are intensifying internal professional development opportunities, along with learning paths and a series of innovative tools that allow sales leaders to train in the context of work, including podcasts and distance learning sessions, ongoing coaching opportunities and two-way feedback.”
