The integration of Alluvio Aternity™ telemetry for the End User Experience enhances the resolution of problems in remote and SASE environments, guarantees, even on third-party functions, alerts that can be activated from and to platforms such as ServiceNow. Acquired SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 security certifications and guarantees support services to European countries
Riverbed, leader in Unified Observability, announced new updates for Alluvio IQ, the cloud-native Unified Observability service, delivered in SaaS mode, which allows IT to have actionable insights to solve problems more quickly and improve the Digital Experience. The new features make the most of Alluvio IQ's automated analysis potential by integrating machine learning technology, including telemetry on User Experience data provided by Alluvio Aternity Digital Experience Management, to solve problems in remote and SASE environments and to integrate with third-party tools. Alluvio IQ allows you to adopt the “shift left” approach, automating basic functionality and allowing the senior IT team to focus on strategic business initiatives.
"IT teams must manage the complexity of modern environments. Fragmented, single-domain tools have caused blind spots in environments such as remote work and SASE architectures. Operations teams often must examine multiple reports, from traffic to packages to infrastructure to user experience, to fully understand an issue and its impact on productivity," he said Richard Tworek, Chief Technology Officer Alluvio, di Riverbed. "The latest release of Alluvio IQ adds the ability to include the User Experience provided by Alluvio Aternity to facilitate problem diagnosis in SASE and SSE remote working environments. We have also expanded support for third-party tools to expand the scope of Alluvio IQ automation, ensuring IT supports a single database and alerts."
"Alluvio IQ supports the team in creating a self-healing network. Using the integrated Runbook and AI/ML functions we reduce the number of alerts, leveraging automation processes to perform corrective actions on the network before users are impacted. Alluvio IQ has simplified the rules in monitoring and unified observability", he underlined Earl Foster, Manager Network Services di American Airlines.
“The enhancements introduced in Alluvio IQ, including automation, end-user telemetry and the ability to integrate third-party data sources, should be welcomed by customers,” he said Jonathan Brown, analista senior di Enterprise Strategy Group. “ESG research highlights that 62% of organizations continue to support hybrid working and having a unified view of these environments becomes essential, thus confirming that Riverbed Unified Observability is well aligned to the reality that IT and security teams are facing today.”
Alluvio Aternity integration adds visibility to remote work and SASE
Businesses must detect connectivity or transmission issues that impact the user experience, regardless of where the user is located or the type of application used (data center, mobile, cloud or SaaS). Thanks to the integration with Alluvio Aternity, Alluvio IQ offers network management teams the ability to analyze incidents that impact these environments and identify where the problem occurred.
Integration with third-party automated runbooks
Alluvio IQ integrates data from third-party tools into automated investigations. On average, companies have multiple monitoring tools from various providers and manually combine data from the different tools when troubleshooting. Alluvio IQ can integrate with tools other than Riverbed using a flexible approach, including extracting data from other monitoring tools or sending contextual events to ITSM solutions within automated runbooks.
Alluvio IQ safety certifications
The new release has SOC2 Type II and ISO 27001 security certifications, which are the requirements for the adoption of a SaaS solution for many companies and PA bodies. The certifications assure organizations that Alluvio IQ has the policies, procedures and technology necessary to keep data secure and confidential.
Alluvio IQ EU region support
Alluvio IQ is now hosted in Frankfurt, Germany, to support European customers who wish to store data in Europe. Alluvio IQ is the first service based on Alluvio Unified Observability, a secure, highly reliable and scalable SaaS platform for cloud-native observability services. Alluvio IQ and its platform are part of the Alluvio by Riverbed portfolio, which includes industry-leading visibility tools for network performance management (NPM), IT Infrastructure Monitoring (ITIM), Digital Experience Management (DEM), Application Performance Management (APM) and End User Experience Monitoring (EUEM).
Alluvio IQ leverages full-stack, full-fidelity end-user, network and application telemetry to analyze over 10 million data points per minute for complete visibility, even in remote and hybrid work environments. Alluvio automates the process of collecting and correlating over 10,000 metrics per minute across times, devices, locations and applications. It also provides automated analytics workflows designed to replicate the best practices of the most experienced IT teams, allowing companies to eliminate issues, de-escalation, prioritize and broaden skills that on average remain concentrated in the minds of a few within an IT team.
