It is an agentless solution to independently manage data traffic policies, reduce costs and high consumption, significantly increasing the productivity of companies
Nethive, an Italian company specializing in networking and security services and projects, presented the new features of HiveFlow4B, the multi-tenant and carrier-grade solution for monitoring and controlling the data traffic of the company's mobile fleet. HiveFlow allows large companies to have full governance over their fleet of corporate SIMs, by creating traffic quotas and thresholds for different user groups. The new release ensures continuous monitoring of all devices connected to the company network in order to protect each device from malicious sources and block unwanted access attempts to the network aimed at vulnerabilities and configuration gaps. In this way, thanks to HiveFlow, organizations are able to significantly increase corporate cybersecurity in a mobile context.
Nethive was founded in 2013 to support enterprise customers in complex network and security scenarios, consolidating its presence on the market and signing important partnerships with leading cybersecurity vendors, together with the development of collaborations with the main TIER1 carriers. In 2017, the first release of HiveFlow was born, the multi-tenant solution for controlling mobile data traffic for the Enerprise market in whitelabel mode. In 2018 Nethive extends its services to the consumer world, developing HiveFlow4C, the Parental Control and Digital Wellness solution for families in the fixed and mobile telephony sector (5G ready). In 2023 Nethive begins opening up to foreign markets, especially in Iberia and Africa.
HiveFlow fully responds to the critical issues of telcos, who are increasingly worried about competition, the Churn Rate, the reduction in revenues and the disputes to be managed with customers who complain about unexpected costs related to roaming. The needs of companies are also satisfied by the new features of HiveFlow4B, since customers, combined with the difficulties of inappropriate use of company devices, the increase in costs and cyber risks, also complain about the lack of governance over company mobile traffic and the possibility of customizing traffic quotas and thresholds for the different company SIMs.
In particular, the latest HiveFlow release offers enriched features Mobile Threat Defense. HiveFlow prevents and detects known and unknown attacks using continuous threat intelligence, blocking the most common cyber attacks in real time and without the need to install any apps on the device. The feature of Mobile Security Policies It also allows you to identify thousands of applications within mobile network traffic for in-depth inspection and granular enforcement of corporate security policies. Many sites include trackers that collect information about users as they browse. The functionality Privacy & Ad Blocker blocks tracking of browsing data, protecting privacy and increasing speed.
“Our agentless solution prevents any attempt to use SIMs on unauthorized devices – he underlines Alessandro Bellato, Co Founder & Owner of Nethive – businesses can create an inventory of all company devices and assign them to a specific SIM. Once all the company SIMs have been registered, it is possible to associate them with personalized usage profiles. In this way the client company has full autonomy in the creation and management of traffic bundles contracted for geographical areas and monitor their consumption in real time."
With HiveFlow, companies have access to an easy-to-use and automatable management portal that allows them to manage their mobile fleet in real time in total autonomy. Through the Reports section, the customer has full visibility on the use of data traffic thanks to numerous detailed reports for each SIM, categories of applications/web content, geographical and roaming zones, as well as the possibility of configuring consumption or inactivity alerts. Customers can in fact receive real-time notifications through two different communication channels: email and SMS.
“HiveFlow web app, is the app that allows customers to stay constantly updated on mobile data usage for each geographical area – concludes Bellato -. Furthermore, with HiveFlow web app, they will be able to have complete visibility on the security and web filtering events that have occurred on the SIM, consulting the app at any time from their mobile device. Thanks to our solution, telephone operators will be able to offer a digital service on top of pure connectivity. Companies, on the other hand, will have a single solution at their disposal that allows them to have complete governance of the company mobile fleet, an increase in work performance and savings on roaming costs, while protecting all mobile connectivity from cyber attacks."
The Security Report module allows you to have full visibility on the security and web filtering events that have occurred on company SIMs, thanks to numerous graphs updated in real time to immediately detect the total number of security events detected, the trend of incidents month by month and the detail for individual months/years.
