New channel partner services to drive accelerated growth and recurring revenue streams
Arrow Electronics, a global technology provider, introduced a portfolio of managed services designed specifically to support channel partners throughout the entire management and service delivery lifecycle.
Arrow's managed services are designed to overcome the challenges many IT service providers are facing related to industry skills shortages, the costs associated with building a managed services platform and the need to balance cash flow while ensuring return on investment.
Mark Barcham, head of services and go-to-market sales for Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions Business in EMEA, said: "Continuous innovation and the delivery of cutting-edge services are critical for our channel partners to remain competitive and ensure they meet the ever-evolving needs of end users. Our new portfolio of managed services delivers substantial value, enabling them to pivot into new areas of strategic focus and continuing to deliver strong business outcomes for their customers. In short, we are here to help channel partners increase recurring revenue streams, without being constrained by the overhead typically associated with maintaining a rich portfolio of services. We are excited about the opportunity to help them grow faster.”
Arrow's managed services include:
- Storage: Improve performance and save costs with in-depth, 24-hour monitoring of storage deployments, both on-premises and in the cloud.
- Cloud backup: It helps ensure a secure backup for each subscriber to the service.
- Networking and security: Improved operational efficiency, threat prevention and anticipation of security vulnerabilities with automatic monitoring, alerts and proactive recovery services.
- Cloud orchestration: Accelerate public cloud deployments by leveraging 24/7 cloud monitoring and a self-service portal to orchestrate and automate the daily operations of public cloud infrastructure providers.
Commenting on the new service offering, Jérôme Cournut, CEO of Network and Systems Administration (ARS), said: "As part of our commitment to providing greater value to our customers, we saw the opportunity to use Arrow's managed services. We renewed all agreements for Microsoft 365 and offered our customers the opportunity to improve their experience by opting for Arrow's comprehensive cloud-managed backup service. Small and medium-sized businesses, along with existing ARS customers, were particularly interested in the pricing and competitive conditions, so much so that over 90% of our customers have signed up for the service."
