The vendor won the prestigious award for the fifth consecutive year
ESET, the global European leader in the cybersecurity market, has been awarded 'Champion' status in Canalys' Global Cybersecurity Leadership Matrix 2023 for the fifth consecutive year, reaffirming its position as a world-renowned digital security vendor and top security provider globally.
According to Canalys, a leading technology market analyst firm specializing in the IT channel segment, which provides an overall assessment of leading cybersecurity vendors with effective channel programs, ESET is “one of the few full-spectrum cybersecurity vendors, capable of covering the consumer, SMB, Enterprise and MSP segments by providing detailed and in-depth threat intelligence information.”
"Since its inception more than 30 years ago, ESET has worked to support its partners in developing their cybersecurity activities and protecting customers from all types of threats, constantly innovating and implementing the protections that our multi-layered technology guarantees. The continuous refinement of our offering and being recognized as Champion for the fifth time in a row confirms the validity of our efforts. We are delighted to receive such a high rating from our partners, who thus reward the work carried out on our platforms and our systems,” he said Miroslav Mikuš, President of Global Sales at ESET.
ESET's ability to centrally design and coordinate its go-to-market strategies and its policy of empowering partners and country offices to manage campaigns and sales based on local strengths are key factors that have contributed to its Champion status. Other distinctive features that have allowed ESET's partner ratings to remain high are the quality of account management and technical support, along with the general simplification of commercial activities.
ESET's network today consists of more than 10,000 MSPs and 24,000 resellers, and MSPs, with 30% revenue growth, represent a key component of the vendor's strategy. The company has expanded its offering by enabling MSPs to offer XDR solutions, including ESET Inspect and ESET Inspect Cloud, and the ESET Professional and Security Services portfolios, which include compliance checks and MDR services.
“ESET's ongoing commitment and support, as well as the targeted enablement of partners to deliver locally focused campaigns and sales initiatives, have been key contributors to its success in the channel,” said Matthew Ball, Chief Analyst at Canalys. “Partners rated the commitment and simplification of the business very positively, as well as the quality of account management.”
The Canalys Cybersecurity Leadership Matrix evaluated 29 cybersecurity vendors based on their overall channel and market performance over the past 12 months. The matrix combines three main types of input: partner feedback from Canalys Vendor Benchmark assessments with independent analysis of each vendor's commitment to the channel based on investment, strategy, results and market performance, such as vendor growth and market share within constituencies.
