Arrow Electronics, a global technology provider, which has joined the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), has expanded its collaboration with Oracle, adding Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services to the ArrowSphere offering also in Italy.
Under the agreement, approved channel partners in Italy will be able to access the full range of Oracle Cloud services, including storage, compute, database and analytics.
The OCI second generation cloud was built with a 'security by design' approach and optimized specifically to help enterprises and public organizations manage the most demanding and mission-critical workloads securely. With a unique architecture and functionality, OCI helps ensure security, high performance and cost reduction and, thanks to these innovative features, it is considered the cloud infrastructure of choice for many companies that are developing GenAI solutions.
Regarding the new agreement, Michele Puccio, Country Manager for Italy of Arrow Electronics Computing Solutions, highlighted: "Our relationship with Oracle has spanned over two decades and adding OCI services to ArrowSphere, also in Italy, was a logical step. We are committed to helping our customers grow their business in the cloud and these products combine the flexibility and cost benefits of a public cloud with the predictability, security and control of an on-premise environment. Our customers want easy access to cloud solutions, and ArrowSphere offers this by eliminating the complexity and simplifying the connection between 'as-a-service' cloud providers, channel partners and end users."
“Today's announcement with Arrow Electronics gives customers more choice and flexibility in using the cloud to help them solve their most pressing and complex business challenges,” he said Fabio Sanginesi, Country Leader Alliance&Channel Cloud & Tech of Oracle Italia. "OCI currently has 48 public "commercial" cloud regions - including one in Italy for three years, in Milan -, several government regions, and since last July two sovereign cloud regions for the European Union. The services on OCI - IaaS and PaaS, but also SaaS - are also already qualified for ordinary and critical data by the National Cybersecurity Agency. Arrow's cloud channel partners will therefore now be able to take advantage of all these winning features and offer them together to us to common customers, public and private.”
ArrowSphere helps channel partners manage, differentiate and grow their business in the cloud. The marketplace includes all major hyperscale providers, as well as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and public and private cloud software offerings. The platform provides end-to-end cloud lifecycle management with features such as automated provisioning, comprehensive billing integration, reporting and predictive analytics. ArrowSphere also offers an integrated DevOps system and customizable storefronts that allow end customers to directly manage their transactions.
Arrow Electronics has worked with Oracle around the world for over 20 years. It offers a suite of dedicated services that help customers market, promote and deploy OCI services, as well as training programs to ensure customers get the most benefits from adopting the Oracle cloud.
