Channel partners saw strong momentum in the months following the product release
Arrow Electronics, a global technology provider, is deploying Copilot for Microsoft 365 through ArrowSphere Cloud, making it immediately available to channel partners in the EMEA region. Arrow Electronics is also preparing specific initiatives to help resellers accelerate the opportunities offered by Copilot.
Introduced in the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program in January, Copilot for Microsoft 365 uses the power of generative AI and natural language processing to increase user productivity and creativity.
As a Microsoft distributor in more than 20 European countries, Arrow has more than 300 certified Copilot specialists working locally to support channel partners with their Copilot system implementations. They each have a full license of Copilot for Microsoft 365, to give them first-hand experience of the impact it can have and to help resellers bring Copilot to customers so they can grow their business.
Understanding the importance of data security and compliance, these specialists are working with customers to identify prerequisites to ensure a safe and smooth rollout of Copilot, giving them the opportunity to benefit from its features without compromising the data integrity.
Brendan Murphy, global director of public cloud at Arrow, said: “As users of Copilot for Microsoft 365 ourselves, we know the impact this tool can have. We use the experience gained to help our resellers develop their skills and unlock the potential of the platform. We spent a lot of our time pre-launch working with Microsoft to make sure we were ready to go from day one. Our resellers wasted no time, carrying out transactions within the first hour."
To support the channel, Arrow hosted a global livestream on launch day across multiple social media platforms. Enablement continues with a broad range of global and local training initiatives, including “How Partners Exploit Copilot for Microsoft 365” webinars.
“Since the debut of Copilot for Microsoft 365, Arrow has deployed more than 9,000 licenses, assisting and directing resellers on how to drive adoption and improve customer productivity, creativity and collaboration,” said David Smith, vice president of worldwide Microsoft channel sales. “With Copilot for Microsoft 365, we can transform the channel industry, supporting customers through various stages of technology maturity and unlocking their potential with AI across applications, data and AI models. Most importantly, with Arrow's innovative, Copilot-dedicated value-added services, we can help maximize the channel's opportunity to drive the value of AI to customers."
Copilot for Microsoft 365 can be requested and activated through ArrowSphere Cloud, Arrow's cloud deployment and management platform. Channel partners can also use the new security dashboard to view an aggregate map of customers' security posture, quickly identifying any threats.
In 2023 Arrow was awarded Microsoft Partner of the Year in the Indirect Provider category for both Western Europe and France.
