Gulf Data Hub (GDH) is a tier-1 provider of purpose-built data center and colocation services, operating six data centers in the Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), three of which boast a capacity of 16 MW each. GDH's latest initiative was the design of a modern and energy efficient research headquarters, dedicated to biotechnology and the production of renewable energy. The main objective was to integrate architectural and technological elements while giving priority to environmental sustainability and minimizing the ecological footprint associated with the structure.

The biggest challenge posed by Conapto was how to maximize the potential of the entire uninterruptible power supply (UPS) capacity. Vertiv, Conapto and Fever Energy met the challenge by renovating the existing installation and ensuring that Conapto qualified for the FFR (Fast Frequency Reserve) program which helps stabilize the national grid by demonstrating the capabilities of the UPS system in compliance with the electricity market.
