As AI workloads continue to move to the edge of the network, the need for greater visibility into remote data center sites has become increasingly evident. Riconoscendo questa esigenza, Vertiv, (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, introduced Vertiv™ Environet™ Connect, an infrastructure control and monitoring solution connected to the cloud and managed via the web. The solution has an interface compatible with any device from any manufacturer, capable of managing different data center infrastructure equipment in multiple locations. Environet™ Connect is available in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and North America.
Environet Connect accelerates the deployment of Vertiv equipment remotely and improves functionality and efficiency through multiple provisioning and network management card firmware updates. System monitoring capabilities improve maintenance of critical infrastructure and provide customizable and configurable alert notifications. The monitoring system covers UPS systems, rack power distribution units (PDUs), generator sets and thermal units.
"Edge deployment is growing and could soon be fueled by AI applications such as large language models, predictive analytics and autonomous applications. Environet Connect is available to channel managed service provider (MSP) customers and partners. It is suitable for all types of users and is designed for multi-tenancy, simplifying the process for partners and customers.
Vertiv provides a range of services to enhance the Environet Connect user experience, including software training, customer help desk and asset management. Services include levels of technical support, firmware updates, device provisioning and remote monitoring.
Vertiv recently unveiled its new end-to-end portfolio for high-performance computing (HPC) and AI deployments, Vertiv™ 360AI. Solutions include power systems, cooling, cabinets, end-to-end lifecycle services and digitalized management. Vertiv™ Environet™ Connect provides a standard interface for AI ecosystem solutions.
