SentinelOne with Purple AI leverages AWS AI and Amazon Bedrock infrastructure to meet customer needs for cloud, endpoint, and SIEM AI security
SentinelOne (NYSE: S), a global leader in AI-powered cybersecurity, announced an expanded strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deliver generative AI benefits. Under the terms of the agreement, the cybersecurity analyst Purple AI of SentinelOne will be supported by Amazon Bedrock, to provide customers with AI security and protection. Furthermore, this expansion will allow us to intensify investments in piattaforma Singularity™ by SentinelOne, within the AWS Marketplace, giving enterprises the ability to quickly and easily access end-to-end protection from a unified, AI-powered platform.
"SentinelOne is committed to AI-powered security that protects customers from today's machine-speed attacks and tomorrow's new threats. AWS has proven to be an increasingly strategic partner when it comes to delivering on this promise and accelerating our shared mission," said Gregor Stewart, Vice President, AI and Machine Learning Engineering at SentinelOne. “By leveraging AWS AI infrastructure and Amazon Bedrock to train, tune, and deploy our models, we can give AWS customers access to today's best generative AI security analysts – and future Purple AI innovations – all within AWS.”
SentinelOne's Purple AI enables security teams at every level to detect threats earlier, respond faster, and prevent attacks. Purple AI translates natural language security questions into structured queries, summarizes event logs and indicators, guides analysts through complex investigations with recommended next steps and automatically generated summary emails, and streamlines collaboration with shared investigation logs. Purple AI supports the Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework (OCSF), an open-source initiative from AWS and leading cybersecurity partners, and provides a native view of both Singularity and third-party data, giving teams the ability to detect and manage all security events. As a result, security teams can streamline investigations, improve analyst prowess, simplify reporting, and dramatically speed up threat hunting and investigations.
SentinelOne continues to increase investments in the use of AWS infrastructure to support the continued innovation, development and deployment of the Singularity Platform, including Purple AI. As part of their respective commitment to joint innovation, SentinelOne will allow customers to choose specific large language models (LLMs) via Amazon Bedrock, such as Anthropic's Claude 3.5 Sonnet, to power Purple AI. Amazon Bedrock is a fully managed service that offers a choice of high-performance foundation models (FMs) from leading AI companies through a single API, along with a broad set of capabilities that organizations need to build generative AI applications with security, privacy, and responsible AI. SentinelOne will also use Amazon Bedrock Custom Model Import and customization capabilities, including Amazon Bedrock Prompt Management, to create solutions tailored to specific use cases.
“The collaboration between AWS and SentinelOne has changed the rules of the game, allowing us to identify, test, purchase and implement the best security solutions for our business faster than ever,” said Guilherme Blanco, Vice President, Infrastructure and IT at EBlock. “From a technology perspective, the collaboration between AWS and SentinelOne not only helps us protect the business, but also allows us to achieve significant operational efficiencies.”
To help more customers achieve these benefits, SentinelOne will leverage new investments in the AWS Co-Selling Program to bring the entire Singularity Platform to the AWS Marketplace and make it easier for customers to find and purchase the security solutions they need through a sourcing channel they know and trust.
“At AWS, our mission is clear: to help customers build, expand, and operate their businesses securely,” said Chris Grusz, Managing Director, Technology Partnerships at AWS. “By deepening our collaboration with SentinelOne and working together to address the growing need for generative AI-driven security solutions, this announcement enhances our capabilities to help customers strengthen resilience and better defend their environments against cybersecurity threats, today and in the future.”
