The manager will offer Vectra AI partners greater resources, programs and support to expand business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa
Vectra AI, Inc., a leader in AI-based extended detection and response (XDR), today announced the appointment of Taj El-khayat as VP EMEA Partner Sales and Alliances. In his role, El-khayat will leverage Vectra AI's partner-focused approach, providing increased resources, training and support to channel, MSSPs, technology and cloud alliances and global systems integrators (GSIs). The new role aims to help partners meet the growing demand for XDR solutions and customized cybersecurity services in the EMEA region, in the current hybrid attack scenario.
This appointment follows the launch of the Programma Vectra AI “Clarity” dedicated to MSSPs, which will help partners deliver best-in-class XDR solutions.
Taj El-khayat, underlined the new role: “I am excited to increase my skills in Vectra AI and to foster business growth in this historical moment of increasing threats and growing complexity in cybersecurity. Faced with security skills shortages, the rise of AI and cloud technologies, and increasingly complex and expensive security stacks, organizations are challenged to prevent SOC team burnout and increasingly insidious breaches.” The manager added: “However, these challenges are also an important opportunity to empower our channel partners with integrated cybersecurity services that reduce their customers' workload and protect them from multi-surface attacks. Therefore, my first task will be to convert our partner ecosystem into a business engine that allows us to multiply our market reach."
Taj El-khayat has proven experience in developing channel strategies and sales in EMEA. Since joining Vectra AI in 2022 as Area VP for Southern Europe, Middle East, Turkey and Africa (SEMEA), he has played an integral role in expanding Vectra AI's presence in the region. His professional experience includes senior roles at Citrix, Riverbed Technology, Juniper Networks and Microsoft, where he drove growth in these markets and built strong partnerships.
“El-khayat's partner-centric sales approach has been instrumental in the development of our business over the past two years and I look forward to seeing him engage across Vectra AI's EMEA region,” comments Teppo Halonen, Senior VP EMEA at Vectra AI. “Experience and leadership will be essential to empower channel partners, ensuring the complete implementation of our MSSP program locally and driving channel-driven growth.”
