This modular system expands up to 132 kW per rack by integrating multiple power units, allowing for expansion with minimal footprint. Available globally, Vertiv PowerDirect Rack offers a complete infrastructure power solution that supports two times the power capacity in the same footprint compared to alternative solutions.
Vertiv PowerDirect Rack is designed to help data centers optimize energy efficiency and scale with ease. Built for Open Compute Project (OCP) ORv3 High Power Rack (HPR) environments, it provides high-density power while reducing energy waste and simplifying operational tasks. With flexible support for AC and HVDC inputs, real-time monitoring and modular scalability, the power shelf enables continuous expansion, allowing IT teams to meet growing power needs without increasing space footprint or complexity. Compared to traditional AC UPSs with separate rectification and power distribution or lower density DC power shelves, this solution offers superior efficiency and an optimized footprint.
