The manager boasts thirty years of experience in companies in the IT sector, with a valid background in product marketing and in the commercial area for direct and indirect sales of HPE
Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure solutions, announces the appointment of Gianpietro Chiumento to IT Channel Resellers Manager for Italy of Vertiv. Chiumento operates from the Milan offices and, as a member of the team working on the IT channel, will be responsible for increasing the Reseller, VAR and System Integrator business on the Italian territory.
The manager has always worked in companies in the technology sector, starting in 1990 in a company of the Olivetti group, then continuing in Siemens Nixdorf and Nec CI Computer, arriving in 2007 in HP and then HPE, where, for over ten years he contributed to the development and implementation of the partners' business and alliance strategies. More recently Chiumento was Sales Manager of SourceSence, a startup founded at the beginning of the millennium, with the aim of promoting the use of Open Source software in the Enterprise sector.

Locally Chiumento will work closely with Stefano Mozzato, Country Manager Italy, thus making available to partners all the expertise acquired by Vertiv in decades of global experience in the design, implementation and supply of services for critical infrastructures essential in data centers, communication networks, as well as in commercial and industrial environments.

Chiumento studied Statistics at the Sacred Heart Catholic University of Milan, obtained a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Milan and subsequently a Master in spin selling (sales certification, forecasting via CRM) from Huthwaiste University in Dublin and an MBA from IMPAC University in Florida.
